Old Man and Tobacco
Merchants of tobacco came to the village in Arabia with the intention to sell it to uneducated population. They thought that the residents do not have knowledge about it. Merchants hoped it will be sold with a good price .They asked if somebody in the village have experience with tobacco. The old man, resident, coughing, stumbling, and relying on his walking stick came nearby .Merchants asked to explain the benefits of tobacco.
The old man started,
‘who smokes tobacco certainly will not get old, his house will not be plundered, and he won’t be bitten by mad dog.
Merchants’ satisfied rubbed hands enjoyed the old man story.
Afterwards the old man began to explain his words:
‘It is true that tobacco will not allow you to experience old age. In the youth health will be corrode and destroyed. Thieves will not steal it plunder your house , because they will be afraid to enter in. No dog will bite him, because he is walking will walking stick. ”
Merchants stooped heads and saying no word left the village.
